WHISTLER, BC December 13, 2013 – Whistler Blackcomb and Monster Energy Canada, Ltd have recently signed an agreement that names Monster Energy as the official energy drink of Whistler Blackcomb. As the official energy drink partner, Monster Energy will bring new and innovative events and activations to Whistler Blackcomb’s bars, restaurants, mountains, and in the summer months, into the Whistler Mountain Bike Park.

Monster Energy will also continue to be the exclusive energy drink of the World Ski and Snowboard Festival (WSSF) for the next two years. The World Ski and Snowboard Festival takes place at Whistler Blackcomb every April and is the ultimate celebration of mountain culture and the ski and snowboard lifestyle. Monster Energy will remain the title sponsor of The Monster Energy Shred Show, the World Ski and Snowboard Festival’s snowboarding competition series, which has historically included World Snowboard Tour Big Air and Slopestyle events.
