Apple - How to Use Snow and Lift Alerts

Tips on how to receive Snow and Lift Alerts. Tap the menu button to activate the icon-based menu. Tap the Inbox (envelope icon). Tap the Settings icon which is located towards the lower left of your Inbox:



Slide to turn on Snow Alerts. Pick the amount of snowfall and what time you'd like to receive your alert. We recommend 6:30am for the most accurate reading by the snow team. The measurement is based on 24hr snowfall.



For Lift and Alpine Zones: Slide to turn on Lift Status alerts from the main settings screen. Pick the type of alert, you can choose when lifts/zones open, close and/or go on standby. Choose the zones and lifts you'd like alerts from. You can pick as many lifts as you like or just that one favorite. These alerts are based on our on-mountain light boards which are managed by our Patrol team.



Now you're ready! Choose the "Done" button to return to the main settings screen.

Be Sure Your Phone has App Notifications Turned On

This is a good time to check and make sure you have Notifications turned on for the Whistler LiveApp. For Apple, run your Settings App and choose Notifications. Here, you can customize the type of alerts for the App. Find "Whistler" and customize the settings.

Android - How to Use Snow and Lift Alerts

Tips on how to receive Snow and Lift Alerts. Tap the menu button to activate the icon-based menu. Tap Alerts & Inbox (envelope icon). Tap the Settings icon which is located towards the lower left of your Inbox:



Tap to check "Enable push notifications" if not already on. Check to enable "Snow Alerts". Pick the amount of snowfall and what time you'd like to receive your alert. We recommend 6:30am or 7:00am for the most accurate reading by the snow team. The measurement is based on 24hr snowfall. To modify or review your settings, tap on "Edit Settings".

Did you Know?

GPS Run Tracking Does Not Require Data Visitors concerned about roaming data charges, can safely use our Run Tracker with your Cellular Data turned off. All GPS functionality will continue to operate and the Run Tracker can keep a log of each run. Once you stop the Run Tracker, your information is stored locally on the phone. You can view the stats and information. Even run lines can be seen on the map. Without data, the map details won't load. This requires a network connection to pull overlays form Google. You can simply connect to a free WiFi spot to see the map details.
Here's how to turn off Cellular data on an iPhone. In your Settings App, choose General. Tap on Cellular and slide Cellular Data of the Off position:

Season Pass and EDGE Card Holders can sign-in to the App and WebApp to view the number of ski/ride days. Use your Whistler Blackcomb eStore login (same as whistlerblackcomb.com account for Passes and Cards).

Sign-in is optional to use the App or WebApp. All other features of the App and WebApp are available without a login. GPS Run Tracking days are not associated to this account in any way.
