Whistler Blackcomb is counting down the days till the Olympic and Paralympic Games begin!

We're in for an exciting year as we realize a five decade long dream of being the Official Alpine Skiing venue for the 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games.  As the Official Alpine Skiing Venue of the 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games, Whistler Blackcomb will welcome the world's top ski racers to its slopes in February.  In addition, the resort will play host to both the Olympic Sliding and Nordic events. 

The truth is, there will never be a better time to visit Whistler Blackcomb than in 2009.10.  Contrary to rumours, the beautifully upgraded Sea-to-Sky Highway is open all the way to Whistler, all season long. Olympic host resorts often see fewer visitors in the year they host, meaning more fresh tracks to call your own!
