Snow School

Whistler Blackcomb Snow School will be interviewing candidates for full-time ski and snowboard kids instructors positions in June and July and part-time positions at the beginning of August.

If you apply in May interviews will be held in June, if you apply in June interviews will be held in July and if you apply in August for part time positions interviews will be held in September.

Note: Due to limited number of spots for Snowboard Instructors, there will be a limited number of interviews held. Kids snowboard instructors interviews will take place during the last week of June and the last week of July.

PLEASE NOTE: The minimum requirements to qualify for snow school positions is CSIA or CASI Level 2 (or foreign equivalent) and 2 full time seasons.

November Job Fair

Whistler Blackcomb will host our Annual Recruiting Fair at the Blackcomb Daylodge on November 1st and 2nd, 2013. We will be hiring for some full time positions but primarily part time and volunteer positions. Application to apply will be open early October.

Returning Staff

All seasonal staff are now required to register their intent to return online. If you are hoping to return to Whistler Blackcomb for the summer 2013 season and/or winter 2013-2014 season into the SAME position you will need to register online, for ALL positions. Summer Registration will be March 15th 2013 to April 15th 2013. Winter registration will be April 15th to August 1st 2013.

If you are hoping to return to Whistler Blackcomb for summer 2013 season and/or Winter 2013-2014 season into a DIFFERENT position you will be required to apply online through our current postings.

Snow School Sponsorship ONLY

For Snow School Instructors who are hoping to apply to be considered for sponsorship, applications will be open April 15th 2013.

To qualify, applicants must be INTERNAL to Whistler Blackcomb (i.e., have worked with Whistler Blackcomb within the last 18 months) and have the following qualifications/experience:

  • Minimum Level 2 CSIA  (Canadian Ski Instructors Alliance) or Level 2 CASI (Canadian Association of Snowboard Instructors) or foreign equivalent
  • One FULL-TIME season ski/snowboard instructing at Whistler Blackcomb coupled with at least one full-time or full-time equivalent ski/snowboard instructing elsewhere.
