Fire and Ice Group Show

The Fire & Ice Show combines the atmosphere of Mardi Gras and the excitement of the X-Games. Where else but at Whistler Blackcomb North America’s #1 Ski resort, could you have performers entertain your group with an eclectic mix of music, dance and spinning fire. Watch world-class athletes flipping and twisting through a burning ring of fire, and finish with a first class fireworks display!

The Fire & Ice show is performed by top members of Whistler Blackcomb’s world class Ski and Snowboard School professionals. It is a perfect compliment to an evening event at one of our venues and is guaranteed to make your guest’s experience unforgettable!

Locations & Cost:

Main location – outside the Garibaldi Lift Company "GLC" located at the base of Whistler Mountain in the heart of Whistler Village. The GLC is a 2800 sq. ft. facility that can accommodate up to 100 ppl for dinner and up to 200ppl for a reception style event. Guests can watch the show through the floor to ceiling windows or bundle up and get even closer to the action by watching from the extensive patios.

Exclusive to GLC location – ability to add a 2nd ring and more athletes for the ultimate display of action and excitement - $3000 add-on

Satellite Location - Dusty’s at the Whistler Mountain’s Creekside  

Dusty’s is a 7400 sq. ft. facility that can accommodate up to 220 ppl. for dinner and 375 for a reception style event. The Fire & Ice Show in this location takes place in front of Dusty’s at the bottom of the ski hill.

Satellite Location – Merlins Bar and Grill at Blackcomb Base  


Merlin’s is a 3900 sq. ft. facility that can accommodate up to 190 ppl. for dinner and 240 for a reception style event. The Fire & Ice Show in this location takes place at in front of Merlin’s at the base of Blackcomb Mountain. For the best view, guests will bundle up and watch the show outside.

Satellite Location – Roundhouse Lodge on Whistler Mountain

The Roundhouse Lodge is located at a spectacular 6,069ft/1,850m above sea level at the top of the Whistler Village Gondola on Whistler Mountain. On average, it takes about 25 minutes on the gondola to arrive at the Roundhouse Lodge providing great views for the guests as they ride to the top. Evening functions are available year round during our regularly scheduled operating dates. We can accommodate buffet dinners for up to 900 guests, and plated dinners for up to 250 guests.

A certain amount of snow is required to execute the Fire & Ice Show. Typically, the show can be available from December to April. These are approximate dates only and may change depending on weather and snow conditions. Sunday evening shows available, except at the GLC and with additional costs.
