The celebration of the 2010 Olympic Winter Games lives on in Whistler and now is the time to cheer on our fellow Canadians as they compete in Sochi at the 2014 Winter Games. Canada’s athletes will be riding a wave of momentum into the 2014 Olympic Winter Games in Sochi following the unprecedented 26-medal performance on home soil in Vancouver & Whistler at the 2010 Games.

To celebrate the 2014 Games Whistler Blackcomb will be showing coverage of the 2014 Winter Games at all of our Valley restaurants and bars: Dusty’sMerlin’s & GLC. Dig out your favourite red and white outfit and come on by for après and cheer on our Canadians as they Go for Gold in Sochi.

Jules Fuel

Saturday, Feb 15 | Whistler Olympic Plaza | 9:00am-11:00am
On Saturday, February 15th join Whistler’s own Olympian Julia Murray for “Jules Fuel”, Julia will be serving her amazing breakfast cereal called 'Jules Fuel' to keep you on top of your game. Pancakes and bacon also on the menu. Breakfast is by donation ($5 minimum) to Julia's favourite charity: the Whistler Mountain Ski Club. Get there early, servings are limited.

Extra Fire and Ice Shows

Whistler will be celebrating the Sochi 2014 Winter Olympic Games with extra Fire & Ice Shows during February. In addition to the Sunday evening shows on February 9, 16 and 23 there will also be shows on Thursday nights and Friday, February 7 for the Opening Ceremonies. The show celebrating the 2014 Olympic Winter Games Closing Ceremony on Sunday, February 23 will be an enhanced performance - expect special guests and bigger fireworks on that day!
