Kids Adventure Camps
Whistler Blackcomb's Summer Adventure Camps feature 1 & 3 day camps for kids aged 3-4, 5-7 and 8-12 years old. Activities include trips to Lost Lake, The Lil'wat Cultural Center, Whistler's Outdoor Water Park and the Family Adventure Zone presented by Nintendo.

Camp Activities for Minis

Mondays - Lost Lake Adventure
What better way to start camp than at Lost Lake? The morning begins with a variety of arts and crafts at the Whistler Kids Center in Blackcomb Base. Campers are fed a healthy snack then take a quick bus ride to Lost Lake where the fun and games continue. Under supervision kids are also encouraged to play in the sand and water on the beautiful Lost Lake shoreline. The group then returns to Blackcomb Kids to eat lunch. After lunch campers spend their last hour having a blast at the Blackcomb’s Adventure Zone, activities include luge, trampoline bungee jumping and a jungle gym, among other things.

Tuesdays – PEAK 2 PEAK
Kids experience the marvel that is Whistlers PEAK 2 PEAK Gondola. The morning begins with play in the park along with arts and crafts activities. After lunch campers take the village gondola to the top of Whistler Mountain to ride the record breaking PEAK 2 PEAK Gondola across the valley that divides whistler and Blackcomb Mountain. The PEAK 2 PEAK currently holds the world record for the longest free span between lift towers and the highest freestanding gondola ride. At its apex the gondola sits 436 meters high, facilitating a one of a kind bird’s-eye view of the entire Whistler valley.

Wednesdays – Cultural Centre
Day thee of camp features a nature walk and a trip to the Squamish Lil’wat Cultural center. In the morning kids are taken on a nature walk on Blackcomb Mountain and collect items for their own nature themed arts and crafts activity. After lunch we will visit the Squamish Lil’wat Cultural Center. Upon arriving campers are greeted with an authentic Lil’wat welcome song and cultural performance. Following the show each groups is given a tour of the center to learn about the Squamish and Lil’wat traditional territories, languages, traditional practices and contemporary cultures. The day finishes with an ice cream party back at Blackcomb Kids.

Thursdays – Water Park
It’s time to cool off at the Whistler Outdoor Water Park. The morning is spent playing games and running around at the park. After an early lunch kids board the ‘Wave Transit Bus’ to Meadow Park. At the Whistler Outdoor Water Park kids can splash around, shoot water guns and even play on the mini water slide to cool off from the summer heat! (Other activities will be arraigned if weather does not facilitate outdoor play).

Fridays – Adventure Zone
The last day of camp let kids fully explore the Blackcomb Family Adventure Zone. Campers have the opportunity to experience a variety of fun filled activities from luge to bungee trampoline, over 14 activities are available. In the morning, designated group activities are chosen for kids to do together and in the afternoon kids pick what activity they want to do. There is never a dull moment at Whistler’s Summer Adventure Camp.

  • Proper clothing for daily weather
  • Back pack with sunscreen, water bottle, sun hat, (swim suit and towel on Thursday)
  • Please come sun screened (Councilors will re-apply throughout the day)

Please Note:
Our Whistler Kids Childcare Centres are licensed under the 'Community Care Facility Act' by the Government of British Columbia. On the first day of participation, an Emergency form will need to be completed at the facility by the parents/guardian. We now also require parents to bring a photo of their child to attach to the Emergency form. Parents may be asked to show their children's identification, as the age guidelines are strict and we cannot take underage children in our program.

Camp Activities for Youths

Mondays - Lost Lake Orienteering
The ‘Orienteering Adventure’ through Lost Lake challenges participants physically and mentally. The morning is spent learning the basics of Orienteering, how to use a compass, read maps, and other useful navigation skills. Once a route has been picked, lunches are packed and campers catch the bus to Lost Lake to practice their new skills. Upon return, if time permits, kids are given the opportunity to play at the Blackcomb’s Adventure Zone.

Tuesdays – PEAK 2 PEAK Mountain Top Hike
The skill building continues in day two with a Peak 2 Peak Mountain top hike. In the morning campers practice their newfound map reading skills and chose a suitable trail for a mountain top hike. Lunches are packed and the group heads up the mountain at 10am. Depending on the selected trail,campers visit the world-record breaking Peak 2 Peak Gondola at the start or the end of their hike. Wednesdays – Cultural Centre
Summer Adventure Camps visits the Squamish Lil’wat Cultural Center. The morning is spent learning survival skills such as how to signal for help, navigate safely, built shelter, make a fire and some basic first aid. After lunch the group visits the Squamish Lil’wat Cultural Center. After lunch we will visit the Squamish Lil’wat Cultural Center. Upon arriving campers are greeted with an authentic Lil’wat welcome song and cultural performance. Following the show each groups is given a tour of the center to learn about the Squamish and Lil’wat traditional territories, languages, traditional practices and contemporary cultures. The day finishes with an ice cream party back at Blackcomb Kids.

Thursdays – Alta Lake
Groups go on a fun filled day riding bikes and swimming at Alta Lake. Campers take their lunches and ride bikes to Rainbow Park then cool off swimming in Alta Lake. Under supervision, kids can enjoy jumping off the dock and swimming in shallow waters. Groups also play games and recreational beach volleyball.

Fridays – Adventure Zone and Archery
Exclusive to Adventure Camp participants, is the opportunity to be introduced to archery! In the morning campers can try their hand at archery and compete to hit targets and hone their accuracy. In the afternoon participants experience some of our exciting Adventure Zone activities. Campers have the opportunity to sample a variety of fun filled activities from luge to bungee trampoline, over 14 activities are available.
