Roundhouse Lodge Mountaintop Weddings
The Roundhouse Lodge is located at a spectacular 6,069ft/1,850m above sea level at the top of the Whistler Village Gondola on Whistler Mountain. It is an ideal venue for an exclusive evening affair with a backdrop of mountain peaks and an expansive view of the valley below.
OPTION 1 – Exclusive Evening Events~SUMMER
Available Sun~Fri June 30~Sept 23, 2007; Available weekends only Sept 23~Oct 8, 2007.
- Minimum Food & Beverage of $5,000.00 plus taxes and gratuities (for groups less than 100ppl) or $50.00 per person (for groups of 100ppl or more); Gondola fee of $1,300.00 per hour, minimum 4 hours.
- Ceremony available on either the Valley View deck (weather back up is Valley View room) or the Glacier View deck (weather back up is the Glacier View room). Ceremony set up fee is $500.00.
- Guest upload starts at 6:30pm; access for décor set up is 3:30pm for Glacier View and 5:00pm for Valley View.
OPTION 2 – NON-Exclusive Evening Events in Glacier View Room
Available Saturdays only June 30-Sept 1, 2007
A) Glacier View Room
- Minimum Food & Beverage of $5,000.00 plus taxes and gratuities for the exclusive use of the Glacier View room (for groups less than 100ppl) or $50.00 per person (for groups of 100ppl or more)
- Sightsee ticket rate of $25.00 plus GST. One complimentary ticket for every 15 purchased.
- Ceremony available on the Glacier View deck (weather back up is Glacier View room) ~ Additional Minimum Food & Beverage of $5000.00 plus taxes and gratuities for the exclusive use of the Glacier View Deck.
- If not using Glacier View Deck, then the Ceremony set up fee is $500.00.
- Guest upload starts at 4:30pm; access for décor set up in both Glacier View room and Glacier View deck is 3:30pm.
- Event end time is 8:00pm with option to extend gondola later for an additional fee.
- Option to buy out Steeps for $2,500.00 (this allows for more privacy).
B) Steeps Grill
- Minimum Food & Beverage of $4,000.00 plus taxes and gratuities
- Sightsee ticket rate of $25.00 plus GST. One complimentary ticket for every 15 purchased.
- Ceremony available on the Steeps deck (weather back up Steeps room). Ceremony set up fee is $500.00.
- Maximum group size is 100 guests.
- Guest upload starts at 5:00pm; access for décor set up is 4:00pm.
- Event end time is 8:00pm with option to extend gondola later for an additional fee.
OPTION 3 – Exclusive Evening Events~WINTER
Available Nov 18, 2006 ~ April 22, 2007
- Minimum Food & Beverage of $5,000.00 plus taxes and gratuities (for groups less than 100ppl) or $50.00 per person (for groups of 100ppl or more); Gondola fee of $1,300.00 per hour, minimum 4 hours.
- Ceremony set up fee is $500.00.
- Guest upload starts at 7:00pm; Access for décor set up is 3:30pm for Glacier View and 5:00pm for Valley View.
OPTION 4- Ceremony on the Observation Deck
Available June 27, 2008 - October 13, 2008
- Minimum Food & Beverage required is $2,000.00 plus taxes and gratuity. F&B Option for this option is Sparkling Wine for a toast after the ceremony and some passed Hors d'oeuvres.
- Ceremony Set Up Fee included in minimum charge.
- Weddings must be scheduled to be completed by 2:30pm so there is no impact to any evening business in the Glacier View Room.
- 50 Chairs will be included in price. Additional chairs can be added at a cost of $100.00 plus tax for each 50 chairs. (Maximum number of chairs is 150)
- All other furniture will remain on deck, but will be moved to the sides of the deck.
- Weddings on the Observation Deck are only available during regular operating hours. The poor weather plan is the Glacier View Room (only option during the day).
Whistler Village Weddings
Garibaldi Lift Company (GLC):
Located at the base of Whistler Mountain above the Whistler Village Gondola, the Garibaldi Lift Company is commonly referred to as the GLC. A fabulous room featuring a roaring wood fireplace, awesome 180-degree views, and three large patios. We can accommodate plate service and buffet events.
The GLC seats approximately 110 people inside for dinner, and the surrounding decks can be tented to accommodate groups of up to 225 people. Minors (under 19 years of age) are not permitted in this venue after 8pm.
Creekside Village Weddings
Dusty's Bar & Grill:
The 3 patios at Dusty's are the largest and sunniest in Whistler, complete with fireplaces and atmospheric heating. This facility is equipped with a state of the art sound and video system, a DJ booth and a large stage. Minors (under 19 years of age) are not permitted in this venue after 8pm.
Dusty's Bar & Grill can accommodate groups of 25 - 220 people for meal functions and up to 375 people for standing receptions.
Raven's Nest:
Just a 10-minute gondola ride up the mountain to Raven's Nest Café and a venue that is exclusively yours! Enjoy the spectacular view from this multi-level patio for your ceremony. Accommodates up to 70 guests.
Catering
Whistler Blackcomb has its own fully staffed and managed catering department which handles all food & beverage functions at our mountain venues.
