Harvest Huckfest, September 20-21
Harvest Huckfest is back for its seventh year, and this time, it is taking place in September when the riding is fantastic. The slopestyle competition takes place on Sept. 20, while the Double Vision Giant Slalom runs Sept. 21.

TELUS Winter Classic Jan. 23-24, 2009This charity event is organized by the Whistler Blackcomb Foundation and features the Race Classic, followed by a gala with food and wine, live and silent auctions and spectacular entertainment.
WinterPRIDE – Feb. 1-8, 2009This gay winter festival includes skiing and riding and health and wellness, spa, culinary and educational activities.
Appleton Rum Peak to Valley Race Feb 6-7, 2009Set over two days, this long-standing team race on Whistler Mountain features a 5km race course beginning at The Saddle and ending at Dusty’s Bar and Grill.
2010 Olympic countdown – February 2009Only one year to go until the 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games. Whistler celebrations include live music, parties and special visits from Canada’s top athletes.

Blackcomb Glacier skiing and riding - June 15-July 26, 2009Summer skiing’s all about goggle tans and patio sessions. Ski or ride the Horstman Glacier in the morning, check out the Horstman Hut BBQ and then head to the village for an ice-cold refreshment at the GLC.
