Whistler, B.C., December 16, 2003 - Santa works very hard to spread happiness over the holidays, and Whistler Blackcomb thinks it’s time to give something back to Santa for all of the good cheer. On Saturday, December 20, Whistler Blackcomb welcomes anyone dressed in full Santa costume to ski or snowboard for free.
Santas must be of intermediate ability or better, and must arrive dressed in red or black pants, a red jacket with white trim, a black belt, a beard and a Santa hat. Meeting time for Santas is 8:30am sharp on the patio of Merlin’s Bar and Grill at the base of Blackcomb Mountain. The day will begin with a very brief on-mountain photo shoot, and then Santas have the rest of the day to ski or ride on Whistler and/or Blackcomb.
