Whistler Blackcomb Introduces Welcome/Information Nights For All Visitors To Whistler

Collaboration with Resort Wide Activity Providers Delivers a One-Stop Shop

Whistler Blackcomb Whistler Welcome Nights, presented in collaboration with members of the Whistler community, offers all visitors to Whistler a broad range of information and activities for anyone who has just arrived to the resort.

"We wanted to make it a real community welcome to Whistler," says Darren Kinnaird, Whistler Welcome Nights host. "It's a great opportunity for our guests to come to one location each Sunday night and meet with the activity providers to get all the information they need to plan out their week."

Throughout the season Whistler Blackcomb will play host to eleven Welcome Night events celebrating the spirit of Whistler.

Darren Kinnaird and Suzie Black, long time Whistler Blackcomb employees, will host the Whistler Welcome Night Show each week, creating a casual and educational presentation for everyone who attends. "Our goal is to welcome, meet and entertain," comments Kinnaird. "Whistler Blackcomb wants to ensure that guests have the best possible experience while in Whistler."

The next Whistler Welcome Night will take place on Sunday January 23 at The Maurice Young Millennium Place from 5 - 7pm. There will be prize giveaways and refreshments for all who attend. Whistler Welcome Nights will be held every Sunday at MY Place for the rest of the winter season.
