Whistler Turns 40

BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION AT ROUNDHOUSE SATURDAY FEBRUARY 4TH


WHISTLER, BC, January 31, 2006 - Whistler Blackcomb will host an anniversary celebration Saturday February 4, 2006 at 2:30pm at the Roundhouse Lodge on Whistler Mountain. Everyone is welcome to stop by as the mountain celebrates 40 years of operation to enjoy a piece of birthday cake, hot chocolate, coffee and tea, and to look back at the last 40 years.

“Forty years is an incredible milestone,” says Stuart Rempel, Senior Vice President, Marketing and Sales at Whistler Blackcomb. “To mark the occasion we’d like to invite everyone to celebrate with us as we look back at how this resort began, and to reflect and acknowledge the amazing people that have made, and continue to make, Whistler what it is today.”

Who: All are invited to join in;
