Whistler Blackcomb hosts Local's Appreciation Day July 8

Celebrate the Arrival of Summer, Check out Summer Activities on Whistler Blackcomb

Whistler Blackcomb is set to kick start summer with Summer Local's Day Sunday, July 8. All locals from Pemberton, Whistler, Squamish and Mt. Currie are invited to take part in the festivities including: free access to the Whistler Mountain Bike Park, Peak Adventure and Little Mountain Golf Centre as well as great deals on other summer activities that are available at Whistler Blackcomb. 

"Winter was amazing and we're excited to continue this momentum through the summer," says Stuart Rempel, senior VP of marketing and sales. "While Whistler Blackcomb is world renowned for winter activities, there is such an amazing selection of things to do and see in the summer. Through this event we want to encourage the community to get out and try a summer activity they've never experienced before or revisit an old favourite."

How to Take Part
Locals are required to bring picture ID with a valid Whistler, Pemberton, Squamish or Mt. Currie address to the Local's Day tent located outside the Blackcomb Daylodge, or the Whistler Village Gondola Building in order to receive a Local's Passport. Picture ID can also be combined with a letter, bill or invoice indicating a local address. Local's Day perks will not be available without the Local's Day Passport.
