Whistler Blackcomb Turkey Sale: "Gear up" For the Winter Season

Largest Ski and Snowboard Sale in Canada Provides Plenty to Choose From and Great Deals.

The annual Whistler Blackcomb Turkey Sale marks the unofficial start of the winter season as 20,000 square feet of ski and snowboard gear are offered at up to 70 per cent off. Over Thanksgiving weekend, deal hunters can stock up on everything from skis and snowboards, to jackets, pants, goggles and gloves. Located in the Blackcomb Daylodge, the Whistler Blackcomb Turkey Sale runs from Friday, October 5 through to Monday, October 8.

"The Turkey Sale is an immensely exciting time of year," says Josh Buchanan, Merchandising Manager of Retail Operations at Whistler Blackcomb. "Everyone is amped for the season and this is the place to get what you need to round out your gear for the winter. Many Turkey Sale staff are long-time locals and they are the hidden bonus at the Turkey Sale for sure. The deals begin with Local's Day on Friday, October 5 from noon until 9pm. Doors open officially Saturday, October 6 at 9am through 6pm. Bargains continue on Sunday, October 7 from 9am to 6pm and Monday, October 8, from 10am to 5pm. 

With gear in hand, a season's pass is next on the list. Early Bird pass prices for an unlimited adult pass is $1399, a youth unlimited pass is $509 or a 15 day pass is $719.
