SKIERS AND RIDERS CAN NOW VIEW WHISTLER BLACKCOMB SNOW, WEATHER, LIFT AND GROOMING REPORTS ON THEIR CELL PHONES

Whistler Blackcomb and TELUS partner to bring up to the minute reports to web-enabled mobile phones

Skiers and riders will now have up to date mountain info right in the palm of their hands. Whistler Blackcomb and TELUS have launched whistlerblackcomb.com/mobile; a mobile web application that provides live snow reports, grooming status, lift updates, weather forecasts and access to the web cams.

From their mobile phones, guests view detailed weather data, including wind speeds, and live temperatures from Whistler Blackcomb’s five weather plots – two at the peak, two in the alpine, and one at mid-mountain (Pig Alley).

The mobile application is designed for all PDAs, Smartphone, iPhones and other mobile web-ready handsets from all mobile networks.
