Summer Safety

Attention All Mountain Visitors:

Please be advised that public mountain access is permitted via our lift system only during regular operating hours. For your safety, we strongly recommend that visitors stay within the designated public areas only. Public recreation of any sort elsewhere is not permitted and will be considered trespassing.

There are a number of potential safety hazards on our slopes, particularly during this very busy construction season. We have a number of construction projects underway on Whistler and Blackcomb Mountains, including:

  • The Peak to Peak lift construction on both Whistler and Blackcomb.
  • Snowmaking installations and trail work on Whistler Mountain.

At any time, various construction activities are underway including digging, blasting, drilling, etc., and various construction vehicles are traveling up and down mountain roads.

Please keep out of the construction zones, obey all signs and do not cross any fence lines. The construction zones are extremely dangerous areas and may be accessed by authorized personnel only.
