Parks & Pipes Descriptions

Global Pipe (XL) - The Global Pipe is the transition to a new era of pipe riding. The Olympic standard is now 22' pipes and the progressive shape of the Global Cutter makes our pipe the best in north America for development in ski and snowboard vert riding.  Groomed nightly, the Global Pipe is for advanced to expert park riders. Mini Pipe (M) - The mini Pipe is the foundation of halfpipe riding. It is the place to learn the basic skills for riding transitions; perfect your pop and spin on the 15' radius walls before stepping it up to the Global Pipe.  Groomed nightly, the Mini Pipe is for intermediate park riders. Nintendo Terrain Park (M,L) - This premier park occupies Choker run beside the Highest Level Park, and runs 3,480 feet in length with a vertical drop of 1,007 feet. It includes table tops, hip jumps, spines, step up jumps, banks, rails, and fun boxes. The Choker Park is the stepping stone into the Highest Level Park in our progressive parks scale. Highest Level (L,XL) - The Highest Level is for expert park skiers and riders only. With massive specs - 1,720 feet long, 485 foot vertical drop - the park features includes the biggest and most technical jumps and rails in the industry that are groomed nightly by the dedicated Park Grooming crew . A special HL Park Pass and signed waiver are required and helmets are mandatory. Snow Cross Track (L) - Now that Snow Cross is a recognized winter Olympic discipline, the Snow Cross track provides a daily training ground for aspiring athletes. Big banks, rollers & step ups challenge park riders daily and are beefed up for event days. Set a personal time to beat or race your buddies, the Snow Cross is a great place to improve high speed freeriding skills. The Snow Cross track is located on riders right of the Choker Park and ends by the side of the Global Pipe with most of the course visible from the Solar Coaster Chair. Terrain Garden / Cougar Park (S)  - Designed for skiers and riders learning how to use park features, the Terrain Garden and Cougar Parks are the first stops in our park progression. These Parks feature smaller versions of rails, boxes, rollers and jumps and are groomed nightly. The Terrain Garden is located off Easy Out on Blackcomb on the Big Easy run while the Cougar Park line is the adjacent to the Family Zone under the Emerald Express on Whistler. Habitat Park (S,M,L) - Three separate runs with Park features, the Habitat Park is more than 1,100 feet long with a vertical drop of 600 feet. A step up from the Terrain Garden on Blackcomb, Park riders can work their way through various sized features on all three runs. The Habitat Park features urban style and progressive jib features and jumps . All Habitat Park lines have low to mid range jibs and rails such as fun boxes, rainbows, flat and down rails. The Habitat Park is a great place for experienced park riders to improve their skills on the progressively shaped hits and rails in each park line. The Habitat Park is highly visible from the Emerald chair with colorful flags at the two entrances.
