Santa's park rangers and groomers have been busy nightly adding jumps and jibs to the Nintendo terrain parks. On Blackcomb there is a new line in the Highest Level area on riders right, with a couple of large size jumps and a bunch of rails and boxes, you don't need a HL pass for this line as there are no XL jumps yet. The next round of snowmaking will see the HL super sized. Look for some great new combos on the Choker line.
Olympic pipe shaper Steve Petrie, and Andy Morrison are working on shaping up the halfpipe and it should be ready to go for New Years day. The Big Easy Terrain Garden is one good snowfall away from getting built too, for those of you tuning up your game.
On Whistler James and Chris have been working building some new natural features in the trees, look for the new rainbow, and refurbished Fupa log. There are a few rails at the top of the Emerald Chair and the crew is poised to start adding features in Chipmunk and Bob Cat with the snows that are on the way over the next few days.
Join us for the King of the Rail December 27th and January 10th at the bottom of the Magic Chair. Registration is between 5 and 6 at Whistler Kids. Check out the killer new rails from our pals at Northern Rails. Lots of great prizes for this rider judged comp. Also coming January 11th is the first Park Rider Slopestyle Session presented by TELUS sign up at Guest relations.
Happy Shredding think snow.
