WHISTLER BLACKCOMB’s Summer makeover is a beautiful thing

Hiking is just getting underway with new trails Alpine Walk and the Overlord Trail open on Blackcomb, and West Loop Trail and Mathew’s Traverse descending from the peak on Whistler Mountain. Snow is still covering some of the alpine but trails are clearing quickly with the cooperation of Whistler Blackcomb’s trail crew, a very warm spring and recent rain.

WHISTLER MOUNTAIN BIKE PARK OPENING MAY 16, 2009

Whistler Blackcomb’s famed Whistler Mountain Bike Park is scheduled to open May 16 with plans for continued expansion in the Garbanzo Zone; completely redesigned Slopestyle, Giant Slalom and Dual Slalom courses; and new lesson and rental packages for all levels of mountain bikers.
