I am writing this letter to let you know that I'm very pleased with the exceptional customer service I received from your team through Ms. Maria-Pia D’Aquino. She's been very helpful, accommodating, and especially knowledgeable about the product. She also knows what's best for the customer to experience the most of their time and for them to have a fun, exciting, and memorable experience. I hope she'll get credit from this because she deserves it; and you as well, being her team leader.  I would also like to mention Ms. Trisha Dalli, who went out of her way to help us get our edge card passes when Maria was off work.

I am a new caller and customer to Whistler Blackcomb, and wanted to take a moment to provide feedback about one of your employees-- Ms. Erin Berry.  My conversation with Erin began on 13 November when I called to book lodging and EDGE cards for a family trip. Erin was so cordial, professional and helpful the entire time that it immediately made me feel excited and at ease about the vacation. I was especially impressed when she helped me research an option for saving a little extra money--something that I didn't expect when already shelling out a large amount for the trip, but was a pleasant surprise to have someone willing to work through my specific travel needs.  We had such a positive experience that first night, that I wanted to call her back the next day to book equipment rentals through her even though I could've just as easily booked it online. Erin made the entire experience personalized and easy.  It's with great pleasure that I say I would recommend Whistler Blackcomb to any friend or family because of outstanding customer service like that from Erin Berry.

I will add that this is a family vacation, I live in Seattle with my wife Melissa, and my daughter Mya and her husband Josh live in the D.C. area. It would have been very hard to coordinate this trip on our own, however Erin made it a breeze. In today’s fast paced, and high demand consumer world, customer service has virtually disappeared, at best you get a cordial person. Erin went above and beyond, and most importantly knew all the answers right away. At one point we were linked on a 3 way call, and she was flawless. Gets me excited about coming to Whistler, if this is the kind of service we will get, I am thrilled!

Having an extensive background of working in customer service myself- I spent a year as a customer care trainer for our 150 seat call center before moving to the purchasing side of our company, I was extremely impressed with all of my interactions with Whistler Blackcomb staff, whether on the mountain, or online.  I look forward to coming up to Whistler for many more seasons to come, thank you again for all your assistance Maria, have a great rest of the summer!

Thank you Amanda. You were incredibly helpful, knowledgeable and courteous. Usually, dealing with reservations over the phone is frustrating because the agent is rude, not knowledgeable or not willing to patiently go over all the options. With you, it was easy and I felt like you gave me all the options and let me decide at my own speed.

Today I had the pleasure of speaking with Kylie Spicer in reservations. I can’t express how friendly and helpful Kylie was! She was very knowledgeable and efficient in providing me with pricing and recommendations for my client and I can’t thank her enough.  The whole process at Whistler Blackcomb Central Reservations is incredibly easy and user friendly. As a travel partner, I really appreciate being able to speak with a consultant who is human and not so automated like most reservation lines. I also really appreciate quotes being sent directly to me by email. Not only does this save me an immense amount of time of not having to take note of everything but it also saves me time when I call back to book- all the information is already saved to my travel plan so there’s no need to repeat myself!

The Mountains & Weather

Question: Do ski resorts guarantee good snow conditions?
Answer: We can't guarantee great snow, but our consistent track record let's us get pretty close. Over the past 10 years, Whistler Blackcomb has averaged annual snowfall of 11.7 metres (38.4 feet). All this natural bounty is supported by a 220-strong fleet of state-of-the-art snowguns that boost the quality and coverage of our snow all winter long.

Question: When is the best time for snow at Whistler?
Answer: Historically, November-January and March are the snowiest months of the season, but consistent snowfall throughout the season is one of the hallmarks of the Whistler Blackcomb experience.

Question: What are the advantages of the different periods that make up Whistler's winter season?
Answer: EARLY SEASON - You know what they say about the early bird. With Whistler Blackcomb’s reputation for reliable early season conditions, smaller crowds and great value, early winter is a prime time to visit.
HOLIDAYS - Imagine family time in the morning, skiing and riding all afternoon and sticking around for an epic New Year’s party. Make Whistler Blackcomb part of your holiday tradition.
DEEP WINTER - January brings deep and plentiful snow, the kinds of conditions that Whistler Blackcomb is famous for.
MID-SEASON - In February and March, Whistler Blackcomb enjoys longer daylight, the largest snow base of the year, and offers great deals for families.
SPRING SKIING - Whistler Blackcomb boasts the longest season in North America, meaning you can be up on the mountain enjoying the sunshine well into May. Don’t miss the celebration of the season, with the World Ski & Snowboard Festival in mid-April.

Question: How does Whistler compare to other resorts?
Answer: With over 8,171 acres, Whistler Blackcomb is the biggest mountain resort on the continent. It's diverse terrain offers thrills for all skill levels, from first-timers to Olympic-level elite skiers. Consistent snowfall (with an average of nearly 12m (39ft) a year over the last decade) means you can book with confidence, while a moderate temperature that rarely dips below -10ºC (12ºF) means you'll be comfortable when you arrive. A unique, vibrant, pedestrian-only base Village is the envy of resorts the world over, while a rich array of activities ensure there's plenty for everyone to do.

It all adds up to the #1 Mountain Resort in North America.

Question: What is the base/town elevation?
