The Roundhouse Lodge
This venue can accommodate up to 900 guests for a buffet style dinner, up to 1,500 guests for a reception style event, and up to 250 guests for a plate service event. Exclusive evening events are available year-round during regularly scheduled operating dates. Non-exclusive daytime functions such as breakfasts, lunches and après' are also available in both winter and summer.
Accessibility
The Roundhouse Lodge is accessed by the Whistler Village Gondola. The Whistler Village Gondola is located in the heart of Whistler's pedestrian village. Most hotels are located within an easy five-to-eight-minute walk.
On average, it takes 25 minutes via Gondola to reach the Roundhouse Lodge from the Village. Gondola cabins can accommodate up to 10 passengers each, but for private evening events the average is six people per cabin.
The Gondola and Roundhouse Lodge are fully wheelchair accessible.
Children
Children are always welcome! They love to ride the Gondola and can keep an eye out for bears grazing below in the summer. If you have a large number of younger guests in your group, a special buffet can be set up for them complete with a sundae bar. We can also arrange for Whistler Kids counsellors to be on site to add a spec.
Sample Evening
6:30PM: Upload the Whistler Village Gondola
7:00PM: First Guests arrive at the Roundhouse Lodge, greeted by one of our Catering Team with a glass of champagne, or specialty cocktail. Hors d'oeuvres begin to circulate the room, teasing your guests with what is yet to come.
Roundhouse Lodge Layout & Facilities
There are three large outdoor decks , the smallest of which is a covered deck. The decks feature breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains and valley. The Glacierview room features a built-in stage and views of Blackcomb Mountain.
