Right Stuff

Can I reserve a specific type or ski or snowboard?
Yes, however only when renting the high pro models. Once you have chosen to book a high pro model, you will be prompted to choose a model or you can leave the preference blank & choose once you arrive in resort.

Do you have shaped skis?
All of our skis are shaped skis.

We are beginners, do we need shaped skis?
Shaped skis are for everyone regardless of ability. Because of the shape of the skis, the skis turn with less effort and makes your day more fun!

Do I need a special type of boot to snowboard?
Yes, we have a free style snowboard binding snowboard binding system that is very easy to use and requires a free style type of boot.

Do snowboard bindings release?
No, snowboard bindings are not designed or intended to release.

Can I trade my snowboard set in for a ski set (or vice versa) if I want to switch?
Yes, simply return your rental to the location you picked it up at & we will be more than happy to help.

Where do I pick up my equipment?
At the time of booking (online & call center) you will be prompted to choose to pick up the equipment at one of the following locations:

  1. Mountain Adventure Centre, Fairmont Chateau Whistler - located in the lobby level of the Fairmont Chateau Whistler - View Map
  2. Blackcomb Daylodge - at the base of Blackcomb Mountain in Blackcomb Village - View Map
  3. Pan Pacific Lodge - located in the lobby level of the Pan Pacific Lodge in Whistler Village - View Map
  4. Mountain Adventure Centre, Marriott Hotel - Painted Cliff Road - Blackcomb Mountain ski in/out access - View Map
  5. Carleton Lodge - located in Whistler Village (closed as of April 22nd) - View Map
  6. Can-Ski Creekside - adjacent to the Creekside gondola. Creekside Village is 5 km south of Whistler Village - View Map

What time are the rental locations open until in the evenings?
Opening day to Dec 15 – 6pm
Dec 15th to April  9th  – 9pm
April  10 th to Closing day – 6pm

Can I store my rental equipment overnight at the base of the mountain?
Yes. We offer equipement storage conveniently located @ Whistler Village base, Blackcomb Base and outside the Roundhouse, Glacier Creek and Rendezvous mountain top restaurants.

Can I pick up my rentals the day before?
Yes - Pick-up your equipment after 4 pm the night before your first rental day and avoid the morning rush.

What do I need as proof of payment to pick up my rentals?
All you need is a form of identification & your Confirmation Number.

For as little as $5.00 per day, protect yourself from costs of damage to our rental gear by purchasing in advance our 'Damage Waiver Protection Plan'.
