We had a fantastic trip. The hotel was clean, comfortable and the accomodations were exactly as advertised. We had a Whistler Jr Suite, which had a cooktop, full refridgerator and microwave. All the utensils, plates, cups, etc were provided and when we needed something that wasn't provided (a wine bottle opener), guest services brought one right up. We did end up bringing our Keurig along with us as they only had one of those small single-serving coffee makers. There were four of us (2 kids, 2 adults) in one room, which was a bit tight at times. Also, drawer space was minimal, but workable. The front desk provided us with board games and kids robes when requested. The outdoor pool is heated to a comfortable temperature and the hot tub was hot, but great for being outdoors. The location can't be beat and the ski-check is super convenient.My only complaint is with the service during checkout. I had been told that my package included a $50 resort food/beverage credit and (thought I had) confirmed that upon check-in. The clerk and the manager proceeded to argue with me, telling me that even though i had paperwork showing a credit, that was just "a general listing of all policies and not part of my package". When I reminded the manager that I had spoken to her upon arrival about it, she claimed she hadn't confirmed I had the credit, she had just told me how it would work. I was extremely frustrated to say the least. We were talking about $50 here and their apparent preference was to argue with the customer. In the end (after I checked out and left), they did confirm with the sales rep that I had in fact been promised the credit and deducted it from my bill. But, it really left me with a negative impression after such a great vacation, which is disappointing to say the least. I would recommend that travelers confirm, for certain, what is and isn't included in their package during check-in. Other than that, I thought the service was great.
