EDGE Card FAQ's

What is an EDGE Card

Available to residents of Canada and Washington State, EDGE Cards come pre-loaded with 1, 3, 5 or 10 days and are valid all season long with no blackout dates. Once your loaded days are used, your Card continues to get you a discounted rate anytime you visit.

Will I use it enough?

It's a long season at Whistler Blackcomb and the more days you purchase right now, the more you save. But even if you buy a 1-Day EDGE Card, the savings and perks are well worth it and last all season long. This year, to give you even more flexibility and convenience, we've introduced the 3-Day EDGE Card.

Why should I pre-commit?

You'll be saving money, getting the best price that will be offered this season by purchasing before the early bird deadline of November 23. Plus, 5 and 10 Card purchasers get a FREE early season day (valid until December 25, 2009). And remember, the 10-Day and new 3-Day Card will only be offered until November 23.

What is DTL and do I have to get it?

DTL stands for Direct to Lift - by linking your credit card to your EDGE card you can go directly to the lift and you will automatically be charged the daily EDGE Card rate. You must select this option if you wish to purchase your EDGE Card online.

If you would not like to have this option you can purchase your EDGE Card at Guest Relations or over the phone (1.800.766.0499), then after your pre-purchased days are used you'll need to stop by the ticket window to buy an additional day at the daily EDGE Card rate and have it loaded on your Card for any additional days you ski or ride.

Do I need to get a new EDGE Card printed before I ski this season?

No, if you had an EDGE Card last season you do not need to get a new Card you can continue to use your Card again this season.

Where do I go to pick up my NEW EDGE Card?

If you had an EDGE Card last season you do not need to get a new Card, you can continue to go directly to the lift. If required EDGE Cards can be picked up from any of our Guest Relations offices. Proof of residency and photo ID will be required to pick up your Card.
