Why on earth would you buy a season Pass in 2010?

Because we're making you an offer you can't refuse. This is the year to own a Season Pass.

  • Smaller crowds
  • Construction free highway access
  • Increased public transit
  • 90% of terrain open and access up the mountains from three of four base locations during the Games
  • PEAK 2 PEAK Gondola access now included with all passes
  • Impossible-to-beat Early Bird price – $1,099 ($430 off last year’s price)
The spirit of the Games is alive and well in Whistler, before, during and after that little event in February that everyone is buzzing about. Which means quieter runs, bigger deals and a larger-than-life Olympic year experience. Contrary to rumours, the beautifully upgraded Sea-to-Sky Highway is open all the way to Whistler, all season long. Plus, this season PEAK 2 PEAK Gondola access is included in your Season Pass, helping you make the most of every day in the mountains.

2010 Olympics

2010 Winter Olympic & Paralympic games FAQ

When are the Olympic Periods?

February 12-28, Whistler will host select events of the 2010 Winter Olympic Games and from March 12-21 for the 2010 Winter Paralympic Games.

How will access to Whistler be affected during the games?

Access to Whistler via Sea to Sky Highway will continue during the 2010 Winter Games as long as you have access to private parking, but commercial motorcoach transportation will be the most efficient option to get to Whistler. Within Whistler, you can use the dramatically increased BC transit system to get around. Got parking or other transportation questions? For more information, visit whistlerblackcomb.com/Olympics.

What about Mountain access?

Whistler Blackcomb’s world class terrain will be 100% open before and after the Games, and 90% open with access from three of the four base locations during the Games period for you to ski and board to your heart’s content.

How can I get the most up-to-date information?

Whistler Blackcomb has dedicated an Olympic information page just for you, with regular updates as they become available, so that you can make decisions and plan for the best possible ski season next year.

For easy reference, be sure to bookmark this web page: whistlerblackcomb.com/Olympics
