What is a Student Pass?

  • The Student Pass is a Whistler Blackcomb Season's Pass available exclusively to full-time college or university students between the ages of 17 - 25 years old.
  • With a Student Pass, students can ski or ride for the entire winter season, with the exception of December 27-30, 2009. $99 upgrade option to ski/ride on these dates available Dec 1, 2009.

What is a Mature Student Pass?

  • The Mature Student Pass is a Whistler Blackcomb Season's Pass available exclusively to full-time college or university students between the ages of 26 - 29 years old.
  • With a Mature Student Pass, students can ski or ride for the entire winter season, with the exception of December 27-30, 2009. $99 upgrade option to ski/ride on these dates available Dec 1, 2009.

Who is Eligible?

  • Any student who is considered full time by an accredited public or private post secondary school in Canada, Washington or Oregon (minimum 3 courses). Students should be enrolled full-time for either the winter or fall semester. (Note: Co-op students are eligible as long as they meet all other requirements and must present a letter from their Administrative Office stating they are in a co-op program.)
  • STUDENT PASS - Students must be between the ages of 17-25 years old. (Students must be 25 years old prior to the purchase date, no exceptions.)
  • MATURE STUDENT PASS - Students must be between the ages of 26-29 years old. (Students must be 29 years old prior to the purchase date, no exceptions.)
  • A copy of your current course curriculum, your Student ID and valid government ID (drivers license or passport) is required when picking up your Pass at Whistler Blackcomb. No ID = No Pass. Your course curriculum must have your name and Student ID number printed on it, not handwritten. Students who meet ALL of the above qualifications but attend another College or University in Canada will need to email: student@intrawest.com

What are the restrictions?

  • Pass expires May 25, 2010.
  • Pass is non-transferable and non-refundable. There is a $500 fraud fine for anyone whose pass is caught being used fraudulently.
  • Valid on Whistler and Blackcomb Mountains for the 2009-2010 winter season, with the exception of December 27-30, 2009 inclusive.
  • Passholders must abide by the Whistler Blackcomb Passholder Agreement and Alpine Responsibility Code.
  • Student Passes can only be purchased online – they are not available for sale at Whistler Blackcomb Guest Relations office or by phone.
  • Passes can be picked up from Guest Relations as soon as you have completed your purchase online (please check opening dates due to early season snow conditions prior to your arrival). The best time to pick up your pass is before 9 am or after 4 pm.

How Do I Renew Or Get One?

The Student Pass is sold exclusively online through this website.

Pay for your pass online with your credit card. We accept Visa, Mastercard, and American Express.

If you will be purchasing with a Certified Cheque or Money Order, please email Pass Administration  Please note personal cheques will not be accepted.


Step 3 - Pick-up

Students will receive email confirmation within 24hrs that their pass application has been processed.

Passes will be available for pick up [during winter operations] at any of the following Guest Relations locations. Please call ahead to confirm office opening times and dates. Please note: during the season the best time to collect your pass is between the hours of 11am - 3pm. Telephone: 1.866.218.9690 or 604.932.3434.

  • Village Guest relations
    Open daily from 9am - 8pm until September 6th. (September 7th - October 13th from 9am - 5pm).
    October 14th 2009 - Nov 1st 2009. All guest relations offices will be Closed. Pass purchase available on-line or via the Reservations center.
    Nov 2nd, 2009 -25th, 2009 - Open daily 10am - 6pm
  • Creekside Guest Relations
    Opens for season on Nov 25th - 10am -6pm
    April 19th, 2010 - Closed for the season

RENEWING and FIRST TIME BUYERS of the Student Pass

Students can email (student@intrawest.com) or fax Attn: Pass Administration (1.604.938.7527) a copy of their student ID, photo ID, course curriculum and current Pass Number to Pass Admin for validation.

  • Renewals - Pass Admin will activate the pass and send email confirmation to the student and they can HEAD STRAIGHT TO THE LIFT with their pass from last season to AVOID LINE UPS AT GUEST RELATIONS.
  • New Pass holders - Pass Admin will make a note on their profile that the correct information has been received and they can bring Student ID AND Photo ID to Guest Relations when picking up their pass

A copy of your current course curriculum (if you have not already sent a copy in), your Student ID and valid government ID (drivers license or passport) is required when picking up your Pass at Whistler Blackcomb. No ID = No Pass.
