7-Eleven Fire and Ice Show - Last Show Whistler Blackcomb turns up the heat every Sunday night with the 7-Eleven Fire & Ice Show at 6:30pm at the base of the Whistler Village Gondola. Fire spinners, fire works and Ski and Snowboard school's hottest pros throwing down big air through a ring of fire makes this event a family-friendly must do. After the show, head upstairs to the GLC's notorious Afterburn Party. |

Whistler Cup Whistler Cup is an international ski event organized by the Whistler Ski Club and hosted by Whistler-Blackcomb. Having completed its 16th year, Whistler Cup has grown to become the largest and most important ski race in North America, and internationally, for athletes aged 11 – 14 years. It is held under the auspice of FIS, the international governing body for alpine skiing. With over 390 young athletes from 17 countries, Whistler Cup brings together children from many different cultures, from around the world. With the 2010 Olympics fast approaching, Whistler Cup is the must attend race for athletes and sponsors not only in the US and Canada, but around the world. For many of our young Canadian athletes, this is the first opportunity they have to meet and ski with the world's best. |

For 10 days, pro skiers and snowboarders impress with their biggest bags of tricks at world renowned competitions, free concerts rock the village, film and fine art events dazzle crowds, and parties pump up the beats. |

Last Day on Whistler Mountain - Blackcomb Remains Open Last day on Whistler Mountain for winter/spring 2008.09 season. Blackcomb will remain open until June 14, 2009. Summer Glacier skiing and riding extends from June 15 through July 26, 2009 affording Whistler Blackcomb the longest ski season in North America. |
