Upload via the Excalibur Gondola only as of Monday, April 26. Hours change to 10am - 4pm. Whistler Mountain is now closed for skiing and boarding but opens again soon with the Whsitler Mountain Bike Park on May 15th and Summer Sightseeing on May 29.

Whistler Cup presented by Rio Tinto Alcan: April 9-11, 2010

North America's only FIS-sanctioned race for juvenile ski racers age 11-14, takes place on Whistler Mountain April 9th -11th. Now in it's 18th year, the 2010 Whistler Cup event promises to be a banner year, with 21 national teams and 375 racers already confirmed!

Whistler Cup is the place to watch the future come to life, as this year's young athletes strive to follow in the recent Olympic footprints of former Whistler Cup participants Lindsay Vonn, Julia Mancuso, Anja Paerson, Tina Maze, and Benjamin Raich...not to mention our own Britt and Michael Janyk, Eric Guay, Robbie Dixon, Emily Brydon, and Manuel Osborne-Paradis, to name only a few.

MS Trust Monster Ski & Snowboard Challenge
Whistler

Join us for the third exhilarating MS Trust Monster Ski challenge, which will take place in Whistler, the official host mountain resort for the 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games!

Take on the Gold Medal Challenge and aim to ski 150,000 vertical feet over five days (the height of Mount Everest per day) or the Silver Medal Challenge, skiing 100,000 vertical feet in total (the height of Mount Kilimanjaro per day)!

Free Sunday Night 7-Eleven Fire and Ice Show

Whistler Blackcomb turns up the heat every Sunday night with the 7-Eleven Fire & Ice Show at 6:30pm at the base of the Whistler Village Gondola. Fire spinners, fire works and Ski and Snowboard school's hottest pros throwing down big air through a ring of fire makes this event a family-friendly must do. After the show, head upstairs to the GLC's notorious Afterburn Party.
