Whistler Arts Council - Children's Art 's Festival July 17 & 18 at Whistler Creekside
The 27th annual Whistler Children's Art Festival fills Creekside with art workshops, music, acrobatics, theatre, dance and fun that encourages kids to embrace their imagination! As well as workshops for kids aged 5 to 11, the Festival includes a pre-school area for children aged 3-5, intermediate workshops for kids in grade 7 and 8 and workshops for the whole family. The festival aims to introduce young people to the arts in an interactive, supportive and fun family environment where imagination's can grow. The 2010 entertainment will be announced closer to the date!Visit the Squamish Lil'wat Cultural Centre Booth at the festival and meet our ambassadors, make a craft and learn a song.

Barebones Orienteering 2010 The next big Barebones event takes place in July 2010 in Whistler & Vancouver BC. We are planning to show off many of Whistler's wonders, with races in the Village, in the forest surrounding the village, and in the high alpine at the top of the Whistler gondola. We are also giving a taste of the majestic beauty of the world's newest Olympic City - Vancouver, BC, with races in one of the most wonderful parks in the world - Stanley Park - and one of the worlds most scenic university campuses - UBC.
