BBQ Demonstrations

BBQ JUDGING CLASS: Become a Certified BBQ Judge - 4 pm.
Open to the public. Must pre-register, space is limited. Update: This class is now FULL

WHOLE HOG BBQ DEMONSTRATION – 7 to 8 pm
With BBQ Champion Jim Ericson. Learn the 24 hour process of cooking a whole hog. Friday's Demo is FREE and registration is not required – just show up! Saturday's Whole Hog Feed dinner is $15 (see below!), and tickets can be purchased at Friday's demo.

Reserve your dinner by attending Jim’s whole hog demo on Friday (see above!). Our famous Hog Feed - a Slow Smoked Whole Hog BBQ’d for 24 hours and served up with fresh BBQ vittles – baked beans, corn on the cob, coleslaw, tossed greens, and our famous buns and butt rub mayo! - It all starts at 7pm

Cooks from all over North America will be competing for the honour of “Canadian Champion” with $5000 in cash and prizes, and an invitation to the World Championships in Lynchburg. A great day to come on down and see the pros in action and sample some of the best BBQ you will ever eat.

THE $5 VISITORS PASS

Sunday provides opportunities to taste test Canada’s best BBQ. For a $5 donation to charity you will receive a pass and sampling priority from our competitors (Samples are made at the discretion of the cooks and will not be available in all cases). More details to come!

The Canadian National BBQ Championships competition is the highlight of the Pacific Northwest's competitive BBQ circuit, and a draw qualifier event for the American Royal World Championships in Kansas City as well as the Jack Daniel's World Championship BBQ event in Lynchburg, Tennessee.

Compete at the Canadian BBQ Championships to earn points towards becoming crowned BC Champ!

Compete in these other events: Smokin’ BBQ Train, Smoke on the Water Kelowna, Canadian Festival of BBQ & Chili Vancouver and the BBQ on the By Pass Langley earning points for an over all score to win $1000.00 cash!
