The DEEP WINTER Photo Challenge, January 14, 2012, invited 6 pro ski and snowboard photographers to team up with athletes of their choice to capture the epic powder days, stormy conditions and deep tree skiing of Whistler and Blackcomb mountain's 'typical' January season.

Vote for your favourite Arc'teryx Deep Winter Photographer by January 31st to enter to win an amazing prize pack including items from GORE-TEX®, Atomic, and GoPro! The Deep Winter King of the Storm was crowned on January 14th at the 2012 Arc'teryx Deep Winter Photo Challenge presented by GORE-TEX® and now it is your turn to tell us who your favourite is!

All six photographers that battled it out are able to win an epic prize of a Whistler Heli Trip provided by Whistler Heli Skiing just by you selecting your favourite photographer. Check out a selection of their photos and vote on your favourite for your chance to win!

Pro Contest

The photographers had less than 3 days to shoot in and around the Whistler and Blackcomb mountains - with a total of $8500 up for grabs. From the morning of Wednesday 11th of January to closing time Friday 13th the photographers searched in and around Whistler Blackcomb for the perfect landscape, abstract, lifestyle and action photos. After three days of shooting in the elements, the presented their slideshows to a capacity crowd on Saturday, January 14th at the Fairmont Chateau Whistler.
