Rest Day Activities

Skiing and snowboarding in the winter, mountain biking and hiking in the summer - Whistler is all about the great outdoors. But when you need a day to recharge your batteries, there are lots of fun things to do indoors as well.

Health & Wellness

Whistler is a mecca for massage and physiotherapy facilities. There are many locations in the Whistler valley offering a variety of different treatments. Hours of operation vary during the year, however during the winter season they are usually open 7 days a week. Treat yourself with a soothing body massage after a day on the mountain.

WiFi

The Whistler municipality has been working with Whistler-based V-Link Solutions to provide wireless, high-speed Internet service throughout the village – encompassing more than 6,500 guest rooms.

The first phase of the Yodel service has been successfully deployed in 11 key locations throughout the village of Whistler, covering approximately 50 percent of all guest accommodations. Sites include the 2010 Olympic office, four hotels, the public library, fire hall and other municipal buildings. V-Link and the municipality plan to expand services to the other areas in the resort where there is a high concentration of tourist accommodation in phase two. These include the Upper Village (at the base of Blackcomb Mountain) and Whistler Creek.
