Blackcomb Discovery Tour

Blackcomb Mountain has a very unique alpine eco system that reflects hundreds of years of undisturbed meadows and tarns. This tour will bring you back to the dynamic formation of the Coast Mountains, its geology and glaciology. You will be taught about the alpine flora and fauna of the area, and you’ll enjoy spectacular views of the Fitzsimmon Range, Overlord Glacier and the Spearhead.

Day Hikes – Pure Wilderness

There is a light whistle in the wind as we reach the crest of our hike. The views open up with an explosion of colors carpeting the landscape. This canvas has a small twist, it changes color and shape at every turn. Our hikes take you through pristine alpine lakes and meadows with views on majestic peaks and glaciers. Eco Glacier Walk - Heeding Global Warming

Horstman Glacier on Blackcomb Mountain. It is quite amazing to think that our glaciers could be gone in less than thirty years! With that in mind, let us bring you on the edge of the Horstman Glacier and instruct you on the importance and the role of the glaciers to our planet. We will strap on a pair of crampons and explore the different features found only on these remarkable geological formations. This experience may change the way you see life on the planet for ever!

Glacier Hike – A new way of Hiking

Glacier hiking is a unique way to enjoy the mountains and experience how it feels to travel on a thousand year old moving ice river, for a whole day! Equipped with crampons, ice axe, harness and helmet we trek on and forget about the rest of the world. The mountains are all yours.

Rock Climbing – Intro Top Roping
