Whistler Blackcomb for Women

The Whistler Mountain Bike Park's famous Women's Wednesdays are back. This year, due to popular demand, they're on Mondays and Wednesdays. Women's Wednesdays are all-ladies downhill biking clinics hosted by the Whistler Mountain Bike Park. Join ladies of similar riding abilities, whether it's your first time or 100th time in the bike park. Meet new friends and learn about the sport of mountain biking in a fun and supportive environment.

On May 28, join us at Garbanzo Bike and Bean for a kick-off party. Bring your X Country bike for a tuning session, get great deals on gear, and catch up with the ladies you'll be riding with this season. The after party is at the GLC.

The Women's Wednesday schedule is as follows:

May 28 - Kick off Party at Garbanzo Bike and Bean
June 4 & 11 - X Country warm-ups around the Lost Lake trails
Monday, June 18th - First "Women's Wednesday" in the Bike Park, running every Monday and Wednesday throughout the summer.
Tickets: Buy in advance at Village Guest Relations. Tickets include a bike rental, armour, a guide and apres.
Time: Meet at 5:30pm at rental shop beside Guest Relations. More Information

Charge of the Goddess Update

Goddesses united during Whistler Blackcomb's Charge of the Goddess 2008 (March 1-9). The week for women featured all ladies' shopping nights at the Glacier Shop and Showcase, pampering by Lily Cosmetic Boutique and Farfala Salon, a Queen of the Rail Jam, and an all-ladies Greek-inspired party at the Garibaldi Lift Co. (GLC). Whistler Blackcomb also raised donations for the BC Cancer Foundation. Join us in 2009 for our next all-ladies week.
