All together now...O, Canada! July 1 is the national day of Canada, a holiday across the country. Whistler celebrates all day long with outdoor festivities - get ready to kick up your heels, Canadian-style and remember to pack your favourite red and white outfit for the day. Festivities include: a Canada Day parade through the Village Stroll, a Canada Day ceremony in Whistler Olympic Plaza followed by a special activities throughout the day.

The hills are alive with the sound of music - in the afternoon chamber music will resound at Roundhouse Lodge on Whistler Mountain, performed by students of the VSO Institute. Bring a chair or blanket and prepare to be amazed at the sound of a full orchestra playing under the stars.

When it comes to activities, we've got you covered, from top to bottom. Whether you’re into zip-lining over a raging river, hiking the high alpine trails, sailing through the sky on the world record-breaking PEAK 2 PEAK Gondola, tucking into a mouthwatering Mountain Top BBQ, or cruising our amazing village for some retail therapy, it’s all here and more.
