GranFondo Whistler
Get yourself ready for North America's Best Voted Gran Fondo. Now in it's 10th year, ride this epic 122 km route from Vancouver to Whistler on the Sea to Sky Highway.
Daily: Sep 07 - Sep 07
It’s a ride like no other. From leafy Stanley Park, Vancouver, riders cross the iconic Lions Gate bridge to travel along the world-famous, beautiful Sea-to-Sky highway. Enjoy breathtaking views of Howe Sound and the Coast Mountains, with challenging climbs and plenty of downhill sections. Recreational, advanced and elite level cyclists are all welcome - ride at your own pace and arrive to a warm welcome and big post-race celebration in Whistler. Catch other special events including the Awards Ceremony and the iRide Jam for kids. Your children will love the mini clinics just for them aimed at building skills for a lifelong enjoyment of cycling. The event is: • Family friendly • All abilities • Fully supported • Charitably partnered. More information coming soon. P: Tourism Whistler: Mike Crane, Chad Chomlack.

The Gran Fondo is the crown of a full weekend of activities and celebrations. Riders have a dedicated lane with zero traffic the whole way – the only day in the year this happens. You and 4500 others will be inspired by an army of supporting volunteers and spectators, as well as the super popular on-course live bands and DJs. Once you cross the line in Whistler, we throw the mother of all parties including a drink on us, a huge variety of food, awards ceremonies, kids’ activities and a feel-good concert that keeps going all the way through the afternoon.

Travel Tips
