For the fourth year, The North Face is proud to partner with Whistler Blackcomb and celebrate the return of winter.
Come experience all that winter has to offer December 6 to 8 with the ultimate winter basecamp experience at the top of Whistler Mountain.

December 6:
THE NORTH FACE Futurelight launch party at Buffalo Bill's
The North Face brings you an all-out celebration of snow and revelry. Come raise a glass as The North Face launches FUTURELIGHT, their most advanced breathable-waterproof outerwear technology.
Enjoy a screening of Defiance, presented by The North Face snowboarding team and dance the night away with Neon Steve and DJ Peacefrog. Free entry / 19
December 7 & 8:
THE NORTH FACE BASE CAMP CELEBRATION
Visit The North Face Base Camp to celebrate the kickoff of winter at the base of Whistler in the Skier’s Plaza and discover The North Face's new FUTURELIGHT technology. The event is free and welcome to all!
Hang out and enjoy:
- Experience FUTURELIGHT at The North Face trailer
- Demo FUTURELIGHT and meet TNF athletes
- Brave the dome pit and win prizes
- Photo booth
- Coffee, hot chocolate and marshmallow
- Fire pits to warm up with your friends

Campout Contest
The North Face is offering a unique chance to be a part of a thrilling winter camping experience on top of Whistler Mountain. You and one friend could win an opportunity to camp overnight at 1850m for guaranteed first tracks without the lift lines.
If you’re a lucky winner, not only will you get to claim first tracks, but you and your friend will get to keep The North Face camping kit!
