Travel back millions of years to the formation of Whistler and Blackcomb mountains’ breathtaking alpine environments. Let our guides take you on a tour of Whistler’s key geological milestones, as well as highlight the flora, fauna, and effects of climate change along the way.
Pricing
Tours will be light to moderate in physical effort and will include an indoor presentation as well as a trip across the PEAK 2 PEAK Gondola. This tour is for ages 8+ and for all ability levels.

- Tours run daily from June 23rd - September 3rd, 2018
- Morning tours begin at 10:00am
- Afternoon tours begin at 1:45pm
- Tour length is 2.5 hours
Meeting Location
Meet at the base of Whistler - At the Geology Tour tent in front of Guest Services at Whistler base. Please inquire with Guest Services for details.
Kids Geological and Ecological Adventure
Fossils, Fur, and Fire
Travel through time with one of our Kids geologists, and learn about our local wildlife, volcanoes, and different types of rocks and fossils.
- 35$ per person. Maximum of 6 kids per group.
- Every Friday, Saturday and Sunday morning at 10am
- Sea to Sky resident pricing available
- On Tuesdays, this is available as a Full Day, through our Kids Adventure Day Camp Program
