Glaciers have shaped the terrain around Whistler Blackcomb for millions of years, and continue to sculpt these mountains today. Formed during the last ice age, a glacier is a slowly moving mass of snow and ice that forms from the accumulation of snow over hundreds of years. Whistler Blackcomb is surrounded by many of these giants and your PEAK 2 PEAK 360 Season Pass or ticket gives you intimate access to discover them.
360 EXPERIENCE ACCESS

Glaciers are viewable from many places at Whistler Blackcomb. While riding the PEAK 2 PEAK Gondola, take a look up the valley to see the imposing Overlord and Fitzsimmons Glaciers. These ancient glaciers feed the Fitzsimmons Creek and power the hydro dam that supply electricity to Whistler Blackcomb's operations. For a more intimate view, hike the Decker Loop trail on Blackcomb and stop for a moment to appreciate the vastness of the Coastal Mountains and their many glaciers.
During early and mid-summer, take the 7th Heaven Express to watch skiers and snowboarders slide around the Horstman Glacier on Blackcomb. This glacier has provided snow enthusiasts the playground to practice their sports in the heat of summer for generations.
