PEAK TO CREEK

Backcountry Bike Tours

An epic option for advanced riders ONLY. One of the Bike Park's most senior guides will test the skill level of riders before this full day 5,000 ft alpine descent.
BLACK DIAMOND TOUR
  • TOP OF THE WORLD - technical rocky trail with some steep corners. In the alpine (above treeline).
  • KHYBER - starts at treeline (sub alpine). Technical single track with some roots & rocks.
  • MIDDLE OF NOWHERE - a cross country-style connector trail, with both short climbing and descending sections.
  • KASHMIR - features many short steep descents, with roots & rocks. Includes some short climbing.
  • KUSH - similar to Kashmir.
  • B.C.'S (BOYD'S) - technical rock & root sections (still technical, but not as hard as Kush or Kashmir)
DOUBLE BLACK DIAMOND TOUR
  • TOP OF THE WORLD - technical rocky trail with some steep corners. In the alpine (above treeline).
  • B.C.'S (BOYD'S) - technical rock root sections (still technical, but not as hard as Ride Don't Slide).
  • RIDE DON'T SLIDE - was formerly much steeper and gnarlier, but recent trail work has reduced the over-all difficulty level. Still contains some steep sections with roots, rocks, and other technical features.

RIDING ABILITY

These tours are a stamina tester - riders should be prepared for several hours of riding without being able to stop at a restaurant or store. Participants should expect a 'work out'.

Riders should feel comfortable on Garbanzo trails such as No Joke, Original Sin, and Fatcrobat. New to Whistler Bike Park? Riders should be comfortable on single double black diamond technical mountain bike trails. Advanced/expert skills are required.

RIDING ABILITY -  ADVANCED & EXPERT RIDERS ONLY

For advanced/expert level riders with the requisite skills, these trails are quite fun and make for an amazing and unique biking experience. For riders not comfortable on the trails, it will make for a long day due to the remote location of the trails.

There is no mandatory air (jumps/drops) on any of these trails.

Not to scare potential participants too much - we're just trying to ensure that people aren't getting in over their head.
