Fuel your passion
Groups will ride all over the valley on some of the most challenging and exciting trails Whistler has to offer; from Function to Westside to Alpine to Emerald. Riders will be challenged in both technical terrain and physical endurance during the trail rides. In the Bike Park, RIDE groups will progress through all levels of trails, fine tuning bike handling skills, riding at speed, working on correct jumping technique, cornering, drop technique, and building stamina so they can conquer all that the bike park has to offer. Coaches will help them prepare for Phat Kids and Phat Wednesday races when possible, but mileage and skill development will be the primary focus.
Only our best coaches make the cut to guide these young rippers through their next phase of riding development. These coaches are highly experienced, certified, licensed in First Aid, and all possess an intimate knowledge of both the Whistler Mountain Bike Park and the trails in the Whistler Valley. The coaches are highly motivated to get the best out of the kids in all aspects of mountain biking and help fuel the passion that drives these kids to ride!
Please note DFX RIDE will not be offered in for the Spring and Fall programs due to low enrollment. We recommend advanced and expert riders to join DFX PARK for the Spring and Fall sessions.
