Registration

  • Registration is from 4:30pm -6:00pm each race day
  • Racing starts at 5:15pm in a 1st come, 1st race order. Any "training" laps must be done prior to 5:00pm when staff start setting up the start and placing marshals.
  • *** Racing does not have a definitive end time. End times are subject to the number of participants.  You must be in line by 7:30pm to guarantee a race start.  If there are no racers for an extended period of time, staff will call the end of the race and start to clean up. If you miss your race, there are no refunds.

All racers must be 2019 WORCA members – WORCA has moved to online waivers.  All Phat Weds racers MUST buy their membership online BEFORE the first day of racing and not on the day: www.worca.com. This should reduce line-ups and also benefit minors whose parents cannot be in Whistler in person.

(age calculated as of Dec 31, 2019) - You will be in the same category all season regardless of when your birthday falls.

  • Grom Male (10-13)
  • Junior Male (14-16)
  • Male Open (17+)
  • Master Male (30-39)
  • Master Female (30 and up)
  • Veteran Male (40 and up)
  • Female Open (17 and up)
  • Junior Female (16 and under)
Mandatory protective equipment
  • (15 and Under) Full face helmet, Knee pads, Elbow pads, and Gloves. (Body Armor strongly recommended)
  • (16+) Full face helmet (Armor and Gloves, strongly recommended)

Series Pass

  • Riders will pay $50 upfront to race the all 9 races.
  • There are only 150 series passes to be purchased. First come, first served.
  • All racers must be 2019 WORCA members – WORCA has moved to online waivers.  All Phat Weds racers MUST buy their membership online BEFORE the first day of racing and not on the day: www.worca.com. This should reduce line-ups and also benefit minors whose parents cannot be in Whistler in person.
  • You will NOT get a race plate for the season. There will be a designated line at the weekly registration for season pass holders.
  • You will then be given a plate each night.
  • If you do NOT pick up your plate before 5:45pm then those plates not assigned will go into the mix for the rest of the field.
  • At the end of the race, you must hand in your plate to get your beer ticket.
  • Only racers who race will be entered into the draw for prizes – even if you have paid for the season.
  • If you don't race – there is no refund.
  • You can pick up a friend's plate – only if they are a season's pass holder.
  • Someone else cannot use your plate to race. They must register themselves in the drop in line. This is to ensure that they have a WORCA membership as well as keeping the results accurate.
  • These races are a series. You do not need to race all of the them but if you do then we keep track of points using the UCI point system. At the end of the 9 races we will crown series champions in each category. We will be taking the top 7 of 8 races for each competitor.
  •  Passes are on sale April 21, 2019: BUY ONLINE

Non-Series Passholders

  • You can still race all Phat Wednesday races.
  • There will be a separate line for non-series pass holders.
  • You will pay $5 each race. CASH ONLY.
  • There is no pre-reg.
  • If we run out of plates then you must wait to see if any Series Pass plates are not picked up, then it is first come first serve to "buy" those.
  • You must register in person. Sorry no picking up plates for friends.
