Alpine forecast for today: Sunny with cloudy periods. High 11 °C. Wind north: 10 km/h. Freezing level: 2600 metres.
From June 1 to June 7, the Whistler Alpine shifts from mild early-summer conditions to a return of wintry weather late in the week. Sunny skies and warm alpine temperatures begin the period, with freezing levels rising above 3000 metres through Tuesday. Increasing cloud and a slight chance of isolated showers develop midweek, while conditions remain relatively warm. A sharp cooldown arrives Friday, with falling freezing levels and a transition to flurries. Winter-like conditions return by the weekend, with colder temperatures and mild precipitation. Winds remain light to moderate, shifting from northeasterly early in the period to more southerly later on.
