The Wonder Routes are a network of trails, way-points, and stops created to help you discover all the wonders of Whistler Blackcomb.

with turn-by-turn directions outlined in our Wonder Routes Map.

Top of the World Route
TIME TO COMPLETE: 3-4 HOURS
Soak up the views and stand atop the four highest points on Whistler and Blackcomb for panoramic perspectives of the Coast Range.
TOP OF THE WORLD ROUTE
- TOP OF WHISTLER PEAK
Go up the Whistler Village Gondola to Roundhouse Lodge.
From there, head right towards Peak Express Chairlift and ride the lift to the Top of Whistler Peak. - TOP OF SYMPHONY
From the top of Whistler Peak, travel left down Matthews Traverse () to Burnt Stew Trail () and Jeff’s Ode-to-Joy () to the bottom of Symphony Express.
Travel up the chair to the Top of Symphony. - TOP OF HARMONY
From the Top of Symphony, travel down Jeff’s Ode-to-Joy () and connect back to Burnt Stew Trail () to Harmony Express Chairlift and travel up the chair to the Top of Harmony. - PEAK 2 PEAK GONDOLA
From the Top of Harmony, travel down Pika’s Traverse () to the PEAK 2 PEAK Gondola and take the gondola to Blackcomb Mountain. - TOP OF 7TH HEAVEN
On Blackcomb Mountain take Express Way () to the bottom of 7th Heaven Express Chairlift and take the chairlift to the Top of 7th Heaven.
Family Certified Route
TIME TO COMPLETE: Half or full day
If you’re three feet tall, the wonder of Whistler Blackcomb is supersized. Take your folks on a tour of the kid-only secret places, where wonder lives large. After all, we were all kids once.
FAMILY CERTIFIED ROUTE
- MAGIC CASTLE
From the top of Blackcomb Gondola, take Expressway () to Easy Out () until you see a wooden archway that will direct you to the Magic Castle. Spend some time playing in the castle and then make your way down to Catskinner Express. - SEA TO SKY RAILWAY TRAIL
From the top of Catskinner Express, take Easy Out () again and then merge to Over Easy () and look for the Sea to Sky Railway tower. Take the right onto the Sea to Sky Railway trail that meanders through the forest specially designed for families. Ride down to Catskinner Express and upload to the PEAK 2 PEAK Gondola for more fun on Whistler Mountain. - PEAK 2 PEAK GONDOLA
Upload Catskinner and take the PEAK 2 PEAK Gondola over to Whistler Mountain. - ENCHANTED FOREST
From the Whistler PEAK 2 PEAK terminal, head down Ego Bowl () and enter the Enchanted forest through the wooden arch for glades and varied terrain. This will bring you to the bottom of Emerald 6 Express to upload. - CHIC PEA
From the top of Emerald 6 Express, head down Whiskey Jack – Upper () for a break at Chic Pea. Enjoy a quick lunch or snack like one of our famous cinnamon buns! - TREE FORT
From Chic Pea, head down Banana Peel () and head right onto Bear Cub () and stop at the Whistler Tree Fort. Afterwards, continue down Bear Cub () to upload Big Red Express to the Whistler Alpine or continue down on Expressway () toward the village.
The Alpine Sampler
TIME TO COMPLETE: 6 - 8 HOURS
The Alpine Sampler is not a route, it’s a smorgasbord. This is just a taste of Whistler Blackcomb’s legendary alpine terrain.
THE ALPINE SAMPLER
- COULOIR EXTREME
Start at the top of 7th Heaven and head left to the top of Couloir Extreme (), follow the ridge on Glacier Drive and drop into Saudan Couloir. Once at the bottom of Jersey Cream Bowl, head left and choose between The Bite (), Staircase () or Blowdown () to reach the bottom of Glacier Express and take the lift up. - SPANKY’S LADDER INTO RUBY BOWL
At the top of Glacier Express, offload to the left and traverse to the bottom of the Spanky’s Ladder () boot pack to hike to the main entrance to Spanky’s. Garnet Bowl () to Ruby Bowl () is the main route down but you can choose any of the bowls down to Glacier Road. - OVERBITE
After skiing from the top of Spanky’s Ladder, travel down the Blackcomb Glacier Road () ski out and connect with Crystal Ridge Express. Take a right on the top of the lift with a short ride on Crystal Road () before dropping into Overbite (). - PEAK 2 PEAK GONDOLA
Once you reach Blue Line () from Overbite (), follow this run to the bottom of Jersey Cream. Ride our newest lift up and then head to the PEAK 2 PEAK Terminal station. Travel on the gondola over to Whistler Mountain. - RATFINK – UPPER
Now on Whistler Mountain, make your way down to the bottom of Harmony 6 Express via Ratfink – Upper (). Upload Harmony 6 Express and head toward Harmony Ridge (). - MCCONKEY’S – LOWER
From Harmony Ridge (), pick one of the Harmony horseshoes to descend into McConkey’s – Lower () and take that trail down to Harmony 6 Express. - GLACIER BOWL
Upload Harmony 6 Express a second time and start on Little Whistler () before dropping left into Glacier Bowl () to the bottom of Peak Express. - WHISTLER BOWL
Take Peak Express and follow the signs to Whistler Bowl. Head straight down into the bowl then follow to Doom & Gloom () and Grand Finale (). Finish your route following Hwy 86 and stop at the Raven’s Nest for a well-deserved refreshment.
Gold Medal Route

GOLD MEDAL ROUTE
- 2025 INVICTUS GAMES VENUE
This route starts from Whistler at Skiers Plaza from the new 8-person Fitzsimmons Express lift. On your way up you will ride above the 2025 Invictus Games venue on Lower Olympic. From the top of Fitzsimmons Express, continue your journey uphill on Garbanzo Express. - MEN’S OLYMPIC DOWNHILL
At the top of Garbanzo Express head toward Dave Murray Downhill (), which was the Men’s Olympic Downhill and Super-G course. - OLYMPIC RINGS
Ski Dave Murray Downhill () to the Timing Flats just above Whistler Creekside. Here you will find a sign indicating every gold medal winner from the 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games along with the original Olympic rings when looking back up the mountain. - DUSTY’S BAR & BBQ
Finish your run with a well-deserved break at Dusty’s Bar & BBQ. - PARALYMPIC & WOMEN’S OLYMPIC DOWNHILL
To extend your Gold Medal Route, head up the Creekside Gondola and Big Red Express and take Little Red Run () to the top of Wild Card ()
Glade Stashes Checklist
TIME TO COMPLETE: Full Day
Because on a snow day or any low visibility day, there’s no better place to be than in the trees.
GLADE STASHES CHECKLIST
Our most epic Gladded run checklist, can be achieved in any order over the course of several days. This is the route we recommend:
- ADAGIO
Starting from the top of Symphony Express, start your descent on Adagio () before heading right in the trees on Staccato Glades (), then traverse the flat section to Glissando Glades (). Ride out to Symphony Express and upload again. - GUN BARRELS
Exit the Symphony area following Jeff’s Ode to Joy () and Burnt Stew Trail () to the bottom of Harmony Express. After uploading, exit to the left and follow Harmony Ridge () until you reach the tree line. Drop left onto Gun Barrels (). Follow Sidewinder () to the bottom of Emerald 6 Express. - ZUDDRELL
Upload Emerald 6 Express and at the top of the lift head down Marmot () toward Harmony Express. Once you are under the PEAK 2 PEAK line, drop onto Zudrell (). Upload Emerald 6 Express again and head to the PEAK 2 PEAK terminal to travel over the Blackcomb Mountain. - OUTER LIMITS OR ARTHURS CHOICE ()
From Rendezvous, head to Crystal Express via Wishbone () to Crystal Glide (). Upload Crystal Express and head left on Ridge Runner (). Part way down the run you will find two wooden archways on your right. At the entrance of the glades, choose between Outer Limits () or Arthur’s Choice (). Follow Glacier Road () to the bottom of Excelerator Express and upload. - GNARLY KNOTS
At the top of Excelerator Express, exit right on Honeycomb (), you will soon see the entrance to Gnarly Knots (). Once you exit the tree run follow signage to Blackcomb Gondola via parts of Honeycomb (), Cruiser (), and Jackpot (). Upload Blackcomb Gondola. - RAPTOR’S RIDE, WHERE’S JOE, WATCH OUT
OR YARD SALE
Outside Rendezvous, head on Express Way () towards 7th Heaven Express. For your last gladed runs of the checklist, choose between Raptor’s Ride (), Where’s Joe (), Watch out () or Yard Sale (). Ride them all by doing several laps exiting via Sunset Boulevard () with uploads on Blackcomb Gondola mid-station.
Super Blues
TIME TO COMPLETE: 4 - 5 Hours
A showcase of Whistler Blackcomb’s immensity, diversity and variety.
SUPER BLUES
Our favourite blue run checklist can be achieved in any order over the course of several days. This is the route we recommend:
- RIDGE RUNNER
Start from the top of Crystal Ridge Express after a waffle from the Crystal Hutand head down Ridge Runner (). Upload Crystal Ridge Express again and then cruise down Trapline () to Jersey Cream Express. Upload Jersey Cream and head towards 7th Avenue () toward 7th Heaven Express.
- CLOUD 9
From the top of 7th Heaven, head right to the end of the cat track and start your descent on Cloud 9. Take Cloud 9 () down to 7th Heaven Express and upload that lift a second time. - CRUISER
From the top of 7th Heaven Express. Head down Upper Panorama () and then Southside (). Once you are back at Rendezvous Lodge, you will now start your journey from the Alpine to the Village on Cruiser (), the longest run on Blackcomb Mountain. - PEAK TO CREEK
Make your way to the top of Peak Express via Whistler Village Gondola and head towards the infamous Peak to Creek (), the longest consistent run in North America. If snow conditions allow (Check My Epic app or Terrain Status on whistlerblackcomb.com for up-to-date trail status), this run will bring you all the way to Creekside base where you will upload Creekside Gondola. If the lower section is not open, head right onto Highway 86 () to the bottom of Big Red Express. Upload Big Red Express back to the Alpine and head toward the bottom of Harmony 6 Express via G.S. (). - HARMONY RIDGE
Upload Harmony 6 Express and head left onto Harmony Ridge (). Take Harmony Ridge back down to Harmony 6 Express and upload for a second time. - JEFF’S ODE TO JOY
Exit straight from the top of Harmony 6 Express and you will go down Burnt Stew Trail () into the Symphony Zone. Continue your descent on Jeff’s Ode to Joy (). You have completed your Super Blues Checklist.
AprÉS Route
TIME TO COMPLETE: 2 - 3 Hours
From an alpine hut to après, enjoy every patio that Whistler Blackcomb has to offer.
APRÈS ROUTE
- HORSTMAN HUT
Start your route at the top of Blackcomb Mountain with a snack at Horstman Hut accessed via 7th Heaven Express. Once finished, ride down Panorama – Upper () and take a right onto Southside Green () toward the top of Jersey Cream Express. - GLACIER CREEK
Drop right into Jersey Cream run () to Glacier Creek Lodge and enjoy a signature Ramen bowl and another beverage on the patio. - CHRISTINE’S
Upload Jersey Cream Express to the Rendezvous Lodge and head straight to Christine’s for a Caesar with a view. - PEAK 2 PEAK
Walk out of Rendezvous, grab your skis and head straight to the PEAK 2 PEAK terminal and travel to Whistler Mountain. - CORONA MOUNTAINTOP LODGE (SEPPO’S)
Walk out of the PEAK 2 PEAK Terminal and head right to the newly renovated Seppo’s, the Corona Mountaintop Lodge, for a refreshing Corona under the sun.) - PEAK 2 PEAK
Finish your run with a well-deserved break at Dusty’s Bar & BBQ. - GLC - GARIBALDI LIFT CO
From Roundhouse Lodge, head down Whiskey-Jack () to Express Way () to Olympic – Lower () with a final stop at the highly rated après bar, GLC, for a signature cocktail.
