Alpine forecast for today: A mix of sun and cloud. High 10 °C. Wind northeast: 15 km/h. Freezing level: 2900 metres.
The week starts warm and mostly sunny, with very high freezing levels (up to 4300m) from Tuesday through Thursday, creating springlike melt conditions. A sharp shift arrives Friday as temperatures drop dramatically, bringing showers turning to wet flurries and freezing levels falling to 2200–2300m through the weekend. Early next week sees a return to milder, mixed skies, with freezing levels climbing back toward 2800–2900m and generally light winds aside from occasional gusts on Tuesday.
