Summer 2022 Operations - Creekside Gondola upgrade project

Creekside Zone is closed for Summer ‘22 to install a new high-speed Creekside Gondola and Big Red Express Chairlift with more capacity. Anticipate minimal, periodic impacts to the Garbanzo and Peak Zones as well. Trail re-routes will be announced on the social channels, and some trails will close intermittently. The construction will ensure more bike capacity and allow for continued expansion of the Creekside trail network in years to come.
We will share details about daily trail closures in the Garbanzo zone and Peak zone on displays at the base of chairlifts, as well as on our Whistler Mountain Bike Park Facebook and Instagram page. Watch for daily Stories on what’s open, re-routes on trails and general information on how to ride the park safely.

Please note: Garbanzo Express is scheduled to open from June 11 with Whistler Village Gondola spinning from May 21.
