Browse the top contenders for the best hotel pool in Whistler, and you’re sure to find one that’s perfect for your next vacation.

Evolution

The contemporary one- to three-bedroom condos at Evolution embrace a modern mountain-lodge theme with open floor plans and full kitchens. They also feature private balconies, fireplaces, and spacious living and dining areas. Evolution is in Whistler Creekside Village near the Creekside Express Gondola, where you have easy access to the Valley Trail.

If you’re excited about swimming in one of the best Whistler Blackcomb pools, check in to your condo, then head straight to the outdoor pool area. The swimming pool is heated and joined by two hot tubs, a sauna, and a eucalyptus steam room. The hotel also offers a fitness room, game room, and media room with two daily movie viewings.

Fairmont Chateau Whistler

There are endless reasons why the Fairmont Chateau Whistler is among the most coveted resorts. One is the renowned property’s luxe, light-filled pool complex, which is part of its health club. You decide if the best pool in Whistler is the outdoor lap pool with mountain views and underwater music, the heated indoor/outdoor leisure pool, or one of the four whirlpools. For the full experience, spend some time in the eucalyptus steam rooms (there are two) and dry sauna, or rent a poolside cabana with beverage service.

The Fairmont Chateau Whistler, a striking, chateau-inspired property with a mountain-chic interior, is located at the base of Whistler Mountain. Its 519 rooms and suites range from guest rooms with one king or two queen beds to 1,200-square-foot two-bedroom suites. Some notable amenities include a courtesy shuttle in Whistler Village, daily tours, yoga classes, an Audubon-certified championship golf course, and four gourmet restaurants.

Blackcomb Lodge

There’s a lot to love about Blackcomb Lodge, the first hotel to open in Whistler Village back in 1980. Among them is a year-round indoor pool, hot tub, and sauna complex with a spa-like vibe. One of few indoor facilities in the village, this is certainly the best hotel pool in Whistler for winter visitors who prefer to avoid a shocking temperature change.

The Blackcomb Lodge is also popular thanks to its central location in the village, steps from shopping, dining, and nightlife, and minutes from the Village and Excalibur gondolas. Suites at the hotel feature full kitchens and private balconies or decks with mountain views. The hotel offers a ski concierge, ski and bike storage, a fitness center, and a laundry room. Underground parking is another plus, along with the on-site, award-winning Araxi Restaurant + Oyster Bar.

Adara Hotel

With just 41 guest rooms, the Adara Hotel is a great choice for Whistler visitors who prefer an intimate, boutique-style lodging option. The hotel in the heart of Whistler Village features contemporary decor with brightly colored accents throughout. Head to the rooftop to check out one of the best Whistler Blackcomb pool complexes — a year-round outdoor swimming pool, hot tub, and fire pit. You’ll be able to take in beautiful mountain views as you swim and soak.

All rooms and suites feature fireplaces, flat-screen televisions, bathrobes, and slippers for a super-cozy vibe. Other in-room amenities include Bodrum coffee makers, Playstation game systems, rain shower heads, and minibars. Guests enjoy complimentary morning tea, coffee, and breakfast bars in the lobby, which has a 24-hour front desk. This 100-percent non-smoking hotel is pet-friendly, with dog amenities available on request.

Pan Pacific Whistler Village Centre

The only full-service all-suite hotel in Whistler is Pan Pacific Whistler Mountainside, located steps from gondolas and featuring mountain views from every suite. The luxury property won the World Ski Award for Canada’s Best Ski Hotel in 2022 — its 10th consecutive year as the winner. The judges — and hotel guests — certainly love the delightful outdoor, heated saltwater pool and two hot tubs. The pool area, with its scenic deck, is open year-round. There’s also a eucalyptus steam room at the hotel.

Choose among suites with up to two bedrooms on upper or lower floors, some with optimal mountain views. All suites have a private balcony, and some have fireplaces and fully equipped kitchens. Sofa beds and Murphy wall beds accommodate additional guests while keeping your suite spacious and open. Dine and enjoy drinks at one of two on-site venues: the Raven Room or the Dubh Linn Gate Irish Pub.

Horstman House

One of the most elegant of all Whistler hotels with heated pools is Horstman House. The luxury, all-condo boutique has a serene, forested setting on a slope near the village. Guests can take a complimentary shuttle to lifts on both Whistler and Blackcomb mountains. The property is just off the Home Run Trail and steps from Lost Lake Park, which features a beach and over 25 km of trails.

The hotel’s heated outdoor pool and hot tub are open year-round. Lawns and tall evergreens surround the pool deck, making the area especially private and pleasant. Accommodations at Horstman House range from one to three bedrooms, all with full kitchens, large soaking tubs, gas fireplaces, and in-unit washers/dryers.

Hilton Whistler Resort and Spa

One of the most famous international hotel brands claims one of the top Whistler hotels with heated pools: the Hilton Whistler Resort and Spa. The expansive resort is in Whistler Village, steps from gondolas and less than five minutes from the Whistler Mountain Bike Park. Its heated outdoor pool and whirlpool area are a major draw to this hotel, along with a broad range of high-end amenities, including car service within the village, a ski and bike valet, and on-site bike and snowshoe rental. The resort also hosts the unique Taman Sari Royal Heritage Spa.

The hotel also has some of the most comprehensive accommodation options in Whistler, with more than a dozen room and suite configurations to consider. They range from standard rooms with one king or two queen beds to two-bedroom mountain suites with full kitchens. Some suites feature a private steam room, sauna, or two-person whirlpool tub.
