In its 35th year in 2019, the Peak to Valley race is a long standing and unique team race on Whistler Mountain. Teams of 4 (teams must be co-ed and all must be 19 or over) race a course which starts on the Whistler Saddle and traditionally finishes at Dusty's in the Creekside.

Two members race on Friday, two on Saturday. The start order for the 2019 race will be based on AGE AS OF DECEMBER 31, 2018 - with the oldest competitors starting first.

The average GS race has 35 gates and a vertical drop of 250 metres. The Peak to Valley race has a vertical drop of 1,443 metres, with 180 gates and a course that's over 5 km long.

RACE ROUTE - For the 2018 race, we started below the Saddle in Glacier bowl, then under the Peak Chair and along skiers left of the Reservoir. We then headed down Old Man, Upper Franz and cross over Highway 86 on to Lower Franz to the Valley.  The finish was conveniently close to Dusty's for apres.
